Home Inspection Report

If the buyer’s home inspection report identifies needed repairs or improvements and there is uncertainty if the Association or the seller is responsible for them, please send the report for evaluation by the Architectural Standards Committee (BRCAhomeInspections@gmail.com) or by mail to the Architectural Standards Chair, 1 Stony Ridge, Asheville, NC 28804. Typically within a week of submission, the Committee will notify the buyer and the seller in writing of items that the Association will and will not address, as authorized under the Association’s Declaration and policies. Authorized repairs will be made at the Association’s expense as soon as possible. Other repairs are negotiable between the buyer and seller.
