The Board voted to revise the rules for use of the clubhouse, pool, fitness room and log cabin, effective January 12, 2021:
BRCA Rules for the Clubhouse, Pool, Fitness Room, Log Cabin
Use of our amenities is at your own risk. Please be aware that there is no fresh air
circulation in any of the Clubhouse Amenities (except the pool when the roof or doors are
open).
POOL OPEN WITH PRECAUTIONS
• The pool is for use by residents, who may be accompanied by a grandchild or other
immediate family member.
• Personal pool equipment may be used, but may not be left in the Clubhouse pool area or
locker room.
• Pool Use/Lap Swimming Sign-up sheet and guidelines at the Gazebo
– 1 hour session for 2 people or 1 Unit
• Water Aerobics Sign-up sheet at the Gazebo
– Mondays and Wednesdays No more than 8 participants plus leader per session
• Wear a mask until you enter the water and stay 6+ feet apart in and out of the water.
• Follow sanitization recommendations.
FITNESS ROOM CLOSED
Keeping the door open for ventilation during the cold weather is uncomfortable, an energy
expense, and is producing high humidity conditions in the room which are damaging to our
equipment and the building.
RESTROOMS and LOCKER ROOMS CLOSED with EXCEPTIONS
– Restrooms are for emergency use only.
– Locker rooms are closed except to permit one person (or a grandparent and child) at a time
to use the locker room to change out of wet swimwear. Face masks are required inside the
Clubhouse.
CLUBROOM OPEN WITH PRECAUTIONS
– Maximum limit 2 people. No meetings, classes or events.
– Masks required.
– No food consumption.
– Keep hall door closed; keep patio door open as possible.
LOG CABIN OPEN WITH PRECAUTIONS
– Maximum limit 2 people. No meetings, classes or events.
– Masks required.
– No food consumption.
– Playing pool allowed.

In Memoriam
We announce with regret the passing of Susan Weinerman , of 4 Weeping Willow.
Susan passed on april 17. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, May 12 at the Unitarian universalist congregation of Asheville, 1 Edwin place, Asheville. in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministry, or the charity of your choice.
